NIDS Focus Coalition Submission to the JSC Reviewing NIRA – February 2021

In February 2021, The NIDS Focus Coalition made a submission to the Joint Select Committee of Parliament reviewing the National Identification and Registration Act, 2020 (NIDS). The submission outlines a series of concerns and proposes approaches to address them.

The NIDS Focus Coalition comprises 13 organisations that represent diverse sectors of society including human rights, technology, governance, youth, gender, law, and disabilities.
