The National Identification and Registration Act, 2020 (NIDS Bill)

In December 2020, The Government of Jamaica tabled a new version of The National Identification and Registration Act. This revised version of the Bill follows the Supreme Court ruling of 2019 where the previously proposed Bill was struck down for unconstitutionality.
